Product Description

RS Brown fused alumina 98% is a new corundum product used to solve the problems in the process of the traditional replacing the white fused and tabular alumina according to the practical needs of refractory manufacturers and practical experience, which is jointly developed by the company and Luoyang Institute of Refractories. With high-purity as main raw materials, the product is made by a special technique in electric arc furnaces with high temperature above 2300 and refining with longer time. It is characterized by high temperature resistance, corrosion and erosion resistance, low apparent porosity and stable thermal stability performance.

It solves such problems as bursting, crazing and pulverising in the process of Brown fused replacing aluminum-oxygen based corundums such as white fused. The product is the ideal product which can substitute white fused, compact fused and tabular alumina in China.

The product sand (Barmac plastic) and micropowder (acid washing) can be widely used to manufacture variety of shaped refractory material products, corundum castable refractory, and other monholithic bulk refractory and caustic-burned corundum refractory products.
